Positioning

A visual primer for board geometry, adjacency, and the one placement route with direct player-video evidence.

Start with geometry

Positioning depends on adjacency, targeting, protection, and the activation timing of each unit. Read the board as six visible slots, then ask which unit needs a neighbor, a protected lane, or a specific target.

The official mechanics reference is the terminology source for adjacency and targeting. The public Build Lab also provides an image-first board reference for experimenting with layouts.

Verified route: Toxic Cinnabark

The first deep guide keeps one player video attached to its claims. The evidence covers early Cinnabark routing, the later Drumire board, trinket choices, and the upper-lane relationship shown in the video. It is linked from the Toxic Cinnabark (Drumire) guide.

ScopeExact placements in every matchup remain review work. The other eleven featured pages only show data-supported board snapshots and are marked Needs Video Review.

Review checklist

  • Identify the carry, the protection target, and the unit whose ability needs adjacency.
  • Compare the proposed board with the next opponent rather than treating one screenshot as universal.
  • Save a screenshot or timecode for any placement claim before promoting it to guide copy.
