What Swim Coach adds

The community trainer reference lists Swim Coach's ability as gaining a random Water monster each day. The daily gift supports a Water direction, while the random result means the opening can vary from run to run.

Build around the gift you receive

  1. Inspect the gifted unit. Read its Type, ability, cooldown, level, and current role. Use the exact result in front of you instead of planning around a particular Water species.
  2. Check the rest of the shop. A Water gift can support healing, damage, protection, or an upgrade. Choose the next purchase that complements its actual job.
  3. Follow a real core offer. In one Aloneso run, the captions name Steamscuttle as the key Water piece, then the creator considers Boomagon or Poison support. Check the name and actual shop offer before committing because auto captions can mishear species names.
  4. Keep the line flexible. Add Water synergy when the board and shop offer it. If other units are clearly stabilizing the run, use the gift as one useful slot while you reassess.
  5. Recheck each day. The trainer provides a new random Water monster daily, so review the board again before repeating yesterday's shop plan.

Separate the trainer gift from a Trinket effect

In Aloneso's opening, the free first Common purchase shown at 00:22 comes from a Bargain Bin Trinket. That purchase effect is separate from Swim Coach's daily Water monster. The reviewed clip does not confirm any retroactive trainer behavior.

Use rerolls as a choice, not a promise

In the same run, the creator chooses ten free rerolls over rare-only shops for five turns. Later, 80 gold goes into searching without finding the desired pieces before a level-four shiny Swoonet appears. Set a reason to stop before a long search: after each new shop, decide whether the missing target is still the best use of your remaining gold or whether the current board needs a bridge instead.
